WINDS Launches YouTube Page With Exclusive Session Clip

September 28, 2006

WINDS has established a profile on the popular video broadcasting site YouTube. The group will, from time to time, update this profile with some exclusive video clips from different things related to the band, such as recordings from the studio, rehearsal videos, and other rarities. Uploaded so far, among other things, is a video clip from the string recording sessions of the fourth album that were done in Norway in December of 2005. This session was performed in a 100+ year old timber church with members from the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra. The clip has never before been shown, so this is a YouTube exclusive. The profile also features a rehearsal video from guitar player Carl August Tidemann where he practices over a theme in E Phrygian Dominant.

This YouTube site will serve as a compliment to the band's existing official MySpace site, the difference being that the MySpace site will be much more band-, music- and album-oriented, while the YouTube site will feature video clips of different things related to the band's members.
